A ghostly boyfriend!!

Since my first day in the dormitory, older persons living in the dorm have told me countless ghost stories.  The dorm is a lively place but during the weekends when a lot of people go home, the dorm is a creepy place to be alone in.

The hallways are all dark and deserted and with a little imagination you can almost see a white figure floating along the corridors.

The Ouija Board

One day an article in the school news paper caught my eye.  It was a story about Ouija boards.  The article even had a large picture of a board.

Something in my mind clicked; I could use this picture as a real ouija board!  I took the paper home and I told my plans to  my roomate and showed the board to him.  He got all freaked out and told me that I’d better not do it because I might get posessed by an evil spirit.

I laughed at him for being so superstitious and I spread the paper on my desk.  I had no “pointer” to spell out the words so I got a Celtic rune stone thingy I had and used it instead.

The rune

I laughed at my roommate  and told him that I was using the Celtic rune for “insight” or “premonition”.  He told me to shut up and stop freaking him out.

I placed the pointer on the board and
I asked a question out loud.

“Will you come visit us?”

Suddenly I thought I felt a tingling sensation in my fingers on the rune. I told my roommate that my fingers were tingling. I got a bit scared and I decided to stop.  I put away the board and I flopped back on my bed and I fell asleep and had a very vivid nightmare where I was fighting devils and monsters. Whoa..

This is my bed: The bottom bunk. It's the best spot in the room.

When I woke up I saw my roommate staring fearfully at me.  He didn’t sleep a wink!!  He told me that I was moaning and talking in my sleep and he thought that I was really posessed by an evil spirit!!

At one point he was going to wake me up but when he reached out a hand, I suddenly let out a scream and I punched the wall VERY hard.

He went back to his chair and prayed all night!

We had a good laugh after all this and I threw the board away in the trash.  No more nightmares for me.
