La Sallian Center

I lived in the La Sallian center when I went to De La Salle university for college. (1999-2003)

No matter what they say, DLSU Taft has the worst dormitory ever. Cranky/psychotic landlady, abusive guards, horrible facilities, over pricing, etc… I could go on and on about the things that were wrong with the dorm.

But instead, I’d rather tell you guys about the GOOD things about the dorm. No mater how horrible things were run by the administration, no matter how horrid the land lady would treat you, you’d always be in the company of friends who’d cheer you up.

Drinking sprees, basketball, anime series, porn vcds, computers, trying to score with chicks, these were the things that everybody was into.

Every night was fun because you’d have company in studying in the “library”, in the annex or on the roof deck area!

On weekend nights, all hell broke loose! Some students (like me) lived so far away that they couldn’t go home for the weekend. Most of the time the students who stayed over the weekend would be broke and didn’t have any money to go out for fun. People like me just stayed at the dorm and hung about. What to do?? Hmmmm…Hmm…. get into trouble!!

Here are some of the things that happened to me during my stay in the center. God, those were the days. I miss the good old dorm but I wouldn’t want to live there again!!
