I had nothing to do the past couple of days so I decided to invest some of my money into some actual FOOD hat I cooked myself. It’s cheaper than having to buy from the canteen and way cheaper than spending 100 per meal.
The first thing I cooked was South African Yellow Rice from allrecipes.com

It smelled so fragrant! I cooked up some chicken nuggets to go with it.

I really really liked the rice but I thought there were too many raisins in it. I’m not a fan of raisins in rice. Earlier this morning I cooked up a batch of rice without raisins and sugar and It was just kinda meh.
A few moments ago I cooked up some spam musubi. (Recipe also from allrecipes.com)
I had tried out some korean mild apple vinegar and I was so surprised at how it tasted like rice vinegar. Anyway I had some mang tomas barbeque sauce so I fried up some cheese spam with it.

There would have been more spam but I ate one big thick slice. Anyway, the spam browned nicely and I set it aside.

I began molding the rice with my hands since I couldn’t cut the spam can and use it as a rice mold. I ate a finished spam musubi and set the others aside for breakfast tomorrow.
