King of Dragon Pass is a very good game that is entirely text based. It is a game that doesn’t require fancy graphics and high end gaming peripherals.
You control a tribe and as chief, you select how the clan reacts to certain events. You can listen to your advisors for their opinions on certain matters.
Some of the decisions that you have to make are hard. Choose wisely!
But you musn’t forget to let your people have fun too!
I played this game in college and it is very good! It has a very steep learning curve but once you learn how to play it, it’s awesome. It’s a whole lot of fun and it will keep you engrossed for hours on end!
You can even pray to your tribe’s gods and reenact their deeds in return for blessings! Beware for walking the path of the gods is filled with danger!
The rewards are great for a succesful hero quest!

My friend Joe hates this game but then again, Joe doesn’t know what’s good for him and on principle he automatically hates what I show to him EVEN THOUGH he secretly likes it. Oh, and he hates anything that is remotely sacrilegious to his white-collar American introduced protestant faith. Poor Joe..
