I got my Street Fighter SOTA preview toys!
March 16, 2008 by Martin Banana
I commuted all the way to Manila to get my street fighter toys. It was VERY HOT in Manila. Fortunately the buses and LRT cars that I rode in were air-conditioned. When I got back to Dasmarinas, I took out my camera and began some serious photo taking.
Akuma
Akuma is the best one out of this set of three. His body is well sculpted and his buddha bead necklace and his feet with sandals look so cool. I was trying to pose him into some of the cool poses found on his box when suddely his leg snapped off! Fortunately I was able to glue it back on.

Akuma glowering at the camera.

Ken
Ken is very well sculpted and the paintjob on his face is fantastic! The sculptors managed to capture his “movie star” look.

Ken is so well sculpted and painted that he looks as if he’s actually looking at the camera! I felt as if I was taking a picture of a real person while taking his close up. He’s pretty good-looking!

RYU
The worst one of the lot is RYU. His skin tone is somewhat dark, which makes him look like a negro. The manufacturers have given him a very poor paint job. His face is not as detailed as Ken’s, his eyes are blank and expressionless and his shirt was placed on his body while the shirt’s paint was still wet resulting in a “white” paint splotch around the neck of my figure. Ugh. His headband is very nice though and he is the most posable of the three figures.

These figures are very nice and worth getting. I’m too lazy to try and pose them any further.
Oh, I forgot to take pictures of the last purchase I made of these DBZ figures. They’re pretty cool and they look pretty good when they’re posed together.
