One of the roms that came with my r4 was LOST IN BLUE. I tried playing it and I was hooked!
Lost in Blue is kinda like Harvest moon and the TV show Survior. You are Keith, a boy shipwrecked on an island. Shipwrecked along with you is a young girl, Skye.
It gets pretty complicated since Keith steps on Skye’s eyeglasses which leaves Skye unable to see stuff very well so Keith must take care of her too! You must feed yourself and Skye by hunting and all sorts of things.
Using the Ds, you must learn how to light fires (by blowing into the microphone!!) and make tools to hunt and fish with! This game is really unique since it showed me how IMPORTANT stones are! Stones can be used to make spears and arrowheads, fishhooks and all sorts of things!
Fishing is fun to do and it is an easy way of finding food. Hunting is quite complicated since you have to sneak up on animals and shoot them with arrows.
All in all, this is a good game. It’s a nice change from Harvestmoon. The sense of having to survive is well implemented in this game with your characters getting hungry and thirsty and all that. For me, I was struck by how the game was able to simulate a prehistoric way of life. It’s like this: Man goes to find food. Woman stays at home to clean, weave, etc. Man comes home with food. Woman prepares and cooks food that Man brought home.
A fun game. Definitely worth picking up

does any one no how to hunt big animals in the grass land my arrows just bounce off

Try making arrows with stone arrowheads.
okay, to hunt a big animal, make a large trap, then find the general area where the animal is going. place the trap in front of the animal and wait for it ot get caught, then keep shooting at it until it’s dead
did you know that in your scrap book, when you press x, it changes what you see like recipies, tools, and animals? i just figured that out, it took me about 6 months, haha
