I moved from Friendster Blogs to WordPress. Friendster just sucks. It won’t let me post any more pictures because they ran out of disk space! It’s so annoying! I’m having a little trouble using Blogger but I guess it’s okay. I prefer WordPress now! It’s awesome and easy to use and I can even upload videos in my posts!
Anyway yesterday was my 25th birthday! I had lots of fun! It was also Yummy’s birthday and I suggested to my friend Nakhai something that I had wanted to do for a very long time… EAT AT DAD’S EAT ALL YOU CAN BUFFET!!!
This is Yummy and me! We’re sitting in Dad’s and about to dig into our food!

I started out with roast beef and a vietnamese roll. I love roast beef! The beef was very good. It was soft and tender. The potatoes however were a little dry but the buttered veggies were very good and made up for it.

We had fun. We ate a Lot. I slowly worked my way around the buffet table for around five times. To avoid getting full at once I only took a little food each time. I took time to savor every single bite. I rarely get to eat out and I mostly eat my own cooking so this was a very wonderful treat for me!
We had the most fun when the singers came out and they serenaded us. I asked them to sing La Bamba to tease Yummy. The band was very good. We sang along. See the video. I was so happy and embarassed that I looked like a little kid! Hahaha! When I get really happy my eyes tend to disappear because of my smile… Hahaha!
Yummy and I were surprised to recieve a small piece of cake with a candle stuck on top!Wow! We laughed like crazy. It looked pretty cute!

Hahaha! We totally didn’t expect to be given a slice of cake. We blew it out and made a wish. This is what I like about birthday cakes and birthday wishes. There’s a certain magic about making a wish on something that you get once a year and on your special day too! It’s totally awesome!

We were getting pretty full. I started taking smaller and smaller portions and Nakhai started taking desserts. We just sat around and groaned with satisfaction. I wish I hadn’t ordered bottomless Coca Cola and got water instead. Coke fills a person up really fast.
Here’s Nakhai with the stuffed toy that came with my drink. Yummy got a pink rabbit and I got a bright yellow stuffed duck. Note the glazed look in Nakhai’s eyes as he happily digests his food. Ah… Bliss… I was sitting around with a glazed look on my face too!

After dinner we watched APOCALYPTO. I had seen it before but Nakhai and Yummy hadn’t so I watched it again along with them. Then we went home. I had to carry the Bright YELLOW stuffed duck through the mall and all the way home. Hahaha! This was the best birthday I had in ages!

Belated Happy Birthday, Martin! Eat-all-you can buffets are the best…my friends and I are planning to eat in Saisaki soon (we’re all craving sushi all of a sudden).
Thanks for that comment in my group’s blog. Welcome to WP! It really is so much better (even if the ’security’ is tight). Do you mind linking with us?
Thanks for the link!
